WHAT DE BRUYNE SAID
When asked about the current state of talks with Manchester City, De Bruyne stated plainly: “No. Nothing yet.”
De Bruyne has faced significant challenges this season due to an abdominal injury that disrupted his campaign. Explaining the nature of his ailment, he said: “It’s pubis. It’s a bit of everything. It’s not nice, but there’s not a lot you can do about it, just wait. I hope to get better now.”
When quizzed about his recovery, De Bruyne said: "I don’t know. It’s hard to say. With the injury I had, I took a while and then I had four games in ten days which was hard. I’m happy for today.”

WHAT NEXT FOR DE BRUYNE?
As one of Manchester City’s most decorated players, De Bruyne’s potential departure would mark the end of an era at the Etihad Stadium. His contract impasse, coupled with interest from clubs abroad, has fuelled speculation about his next move. Despite the off-field uncertainty, the midfielder is preparing for the next Premier League fixture against West Ham on Saturday.
