THE BIGGER PICTURE
There's no doubt that it's an ugly start to the Paris Olympic football tournament with fans also seen throwing objects onto the pitch. Argentina's national anthem was also booed by those in the stadium, with fans seemingly angry at footage showing Enzo Fernandez and his Argentina team-mates engaging in a racist chant during their Copa America celebrations. Argentina manager Javier Mascherano was also furious after the final whistle. "The biggest circus I've ever seen in my life," he said.
